Disassembled the main board and removed the controller…. not looking good; parts of large-ish silicon power transistors dropped out the end of the controller. Further inspection reveals a couple of capacitors with holes in… and yes that is electrolyte powder everywhere!

Started replacing the GBS supplied bolts with ‘ones that actually stay in place’. In case some else needs to change theirs they are: M4 x 0.7mm x 10mm. Buy ones with a 7mm hex head.

Cell #5 had been the bane of the pack for that last few weeks… Over temp/ under volt. All due bad contact on the terminal. Replaced with a 7mm hex bolt and torqued that down. Now it’s the happiest cell in the pack. Just 376 bolts to go – joy!
